Melissa Wish - MSW, LSW
Founder

Melissa launched WaysForward to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build greater independence, guide families through the transition to adult services and help organizations and employers create workplaces where people of all abilities can thrive.

Prior to WaysForward, Melissa was the Transition & Work-Based Learning Coordinator at Banyan High School and a Social Worker at Opportunity Project, where she supported adults with brain injuries as they reintegrated into community and vocational life. She serves on the Board of JESPY House and earned her MSW from Hunter College and BA from the University of Michigan.
